Week results in the project "Duyunov's motors"

News from the "Sovelmash" construction site, as well as from the project partners Victor Arestov and Andrey Lobov. Let's sum up the results of the outgoing week.

A number of important works have been carried out at the "Sovelmash" construction site in "Alabushevo".
- A transformer substation has been connected to supply electricity to the site from "Technopolis "Moscow". Previously, electricity for the construction was generated by diesel generators, which was both expensive and quite noisy.
- Preparation for pouring the D3333E building foundation has been completed: some of the blanks for the foundation base were filled with concrete, the reinforcement frames were installed, and the formwork was made. All estimates for the concrete works have been approved, and funds have been allocated for them.
- Almost all metal structures for the building frame have been delivered to the site.

In addition to the construction, the team of "Sovelmash" is engaged in many other tasks, including new developments.
March 25, 2021 was a significant day for the company's specialists. The design model of the motor, which the company is currently working on, demonstrated the correctness of the calculations by the "Sovelmash" specialists. To get this result, the team had worked long and hard. However, before receiving the finished product, you still need to go through several stages: modeling, debugging, creating design documentation, manufacturing a sample and testing it. "Sovelmash" has not yet disclosed what motor it is currently working on, but the development is expected to be extremely interesting.

ASPP Weihai Technology has launched the production of a four-pole combined winding traction motor DA-132SL.

In the near future, the prototypes will be made, one of which will be sent to the customer for testing in Russia, the other one will remain in China for testing on a 7-seat Suzuki minivan. The expected rated power of the motor is 30 kW.

Another project partner promoting transport with "Slavyanka", the company "STIIN", has installed a combined winding motor DA-90S on the tricycle Bajaj Maxima. It is one of the most popular cargo tricycles in the world.

Instead of the factory produced motor, the "motor-controller" kit manufactured by ASPP Weihai and a roof solar panel were installed. Duyunov's motor is so cost-effective that the 54 A/h battery doesn't need to be charged from the mains at all — the solar power in sunny countries is enough to recharge it during stopovers.

The motor with the "Slavyanka" combined winding will provide a number of advantages as compared to the factory made diesel motor:
- huge fuel savings,
- the motor does not need maintenance,
- the performance characteristics of the vehicle will improve.

The tricycle with "Slavyanka" has ample prospects in the world market and especially in India, where it has been decided to convert all three-wheeled trucks to electric traction by 2025.
