Kit for a tuk-tuk with the DA-90S motor: video review by Andrey Lobov

"STIIN" has prepared the kit to be shipped to India, where it will be installed on the Bajaj Maxima tuk-tuk. The company's representative Andrey Lobov explained what the kit includes and what opportunities it provides to users.

Watch the video to learn the details.

The "heart" of the kit is the DA-90S combined winding motor produced by ASPP Weihai. The compact motor has the power required for a tuk-tuk and doesn't overheat. The motor with "Slavyanka" consumes less power compared to its electric counterparts, which increases the range. The motor is easy to operate and can run faultlessly for decades.

The kit can be used along with solar panels, which significantly increases the range. The tuk-tuk speed reaches 20 km/h when powered by two 300-watt solar panels, and up to 50 km/h when powered by a 72-volt battery. The power and cost efficiency of the motor make it possible to run on solar power without charging from the power supply. Andrey Lobov personally drove 75 km a day on solar power alone - and that in the latitude of Moscow in the autumn.

In India, the need for energy-efficient electric vehicles is growing due to heavy smog in urban areas and expensive fuel. Tuk-tuks with Duyunov's motors will introduce the country to the advantages of the "Slavyanka" technology more closely. This is beneficial for "Sovelmash" because it shapes the demand for the engineering center's services in the Indian market. To recap, the "Sovelmash" D&E under construction is the only enterprise in the world that will be able to implement the full potential of the "Slavyanka" technology and develop the world's most energy-efficient customized electric motors.
