On December 16, the project "Duyunov's motors" goes to a new funding stage - stage 17

December 15 is the last day of stage 16 that started on May 20, 2021 and is remembered primarily by the active construction of the "Sovelmash" engineering center. Let's sum up the preliminary results of the stage and see what the project team has managed to achieve in six months.

From the foundation to the D3333E roof

At stage 16, something that the project investors had been waiting for so long began: the active construction stage at the "Alabushevo" site. Thanks to regular videos from the construction site, we have watched and continue to monitor now how the building of the future "Sovelmash" design and engineering technology department is growing.

On May 25, a solemn ceremony of burying the "Sovelmash" time capsule was held at the site.
On June 3, the first girder of metal structures was installed, and in mid-September, the installation of the metal frame was completed. In less than four months, the builders fully assembled the testing-and-production and office-and-amenity buildings, as well as the storage facilities of the D3333E.
The installation of the basement panels for the building was completed.
On November 2, the casting of concrete interfloor slabs for the third floor began. Currently, it is underway, at the same time, the preparations for casting the interfloor slabs for the second floor are in progress.
On November 19, the installation of the inner part of the building walls started.
The casting of staircases and elevator shafts is nearing completion, so is the roof installation.

The D3333E building is becoming more and more complete. The main task is to close the thermal contour of the building before severe frosts.

Events in "Sovelmash"

On the leased premises of "Sovelmash" in Zelenograd, work was also carried out in a number of areas.

On September 11, "Sovelmash" received the equipment purchased in China to create the automated line for the production of electric motors, which is necessary for elaborating the entire technological workflow of manufacturing electric rotating machines. Now the "Sovelmash" specialists are completing the equipment debugging and working on the tooling that will increase the intensity and productivity of the automated production line.

Besides, during the entire stage 16, "Sovelmash" continued intensive testing of angle grinders with combined winding motors; work on the original inhouse-developed incremental encoders was also underway.

Expansion of geography

New national representative offices were opened by SOLARGROUP in three countries:

August 28 - in Nepal, with Gulshan Kumar Birdi as the national partner;
September 4 - in Italy, with Gulshan Kumar Birdi as the national partner;
October 2 - in Peru (the first one in Latin America), with Massimiliano Vivian Rossini as the national partner.

The conferences for investors, partners and everyone interested in the project were held to celebrate the events. The events were attended by the top managers of SOLARGROUP.

The opening of a national representative office in Ecuador is scheduled for November 27.

In addition, online and offline conferences dedicated to the project were held in the countries where the company's national representative offices operate now: Côte d'Ivoire, Vietnam, Bulgaria, India.

New developments of vehicles with the "Slavyanka" technology

In China, preparations have begun for the European certification of a new electric car with Duyunov's motor. The head of ASPP Weihai and partner of "Sovelmash" Victor Arestov said that a two-seater model with a DA-112SL motor was in the works. The electric car will travel at the speed of up to 90 km/h. There are two battery options: 9.2 kWh and 14 kWh.

In order to promote the "Slavyanka" technology among Chinese specialists, in early July 2021, Victor Arestov held lectures at the Weihai Vocational College, where the students and teachers learned about the features of the combined winding technology. After almost 5 months, in November, the college launched an extensive program for the students of three different years to teach the basics of using the motors based on the combined winding "Slavyanka" technology. Having mastered the theory, students will have an internship at ASPP Weihai, where they will get acquainted with the use of the "Slavyanka" motors installed in vehicles. The plans include the creation of student projects incorporating the technology.

"STIIN" installed a kit with a DA-90S combined winding motor and a solar panel on the Bajaj Maxima tuk-tuk. According to Andrey Lobov, the company's representative and partner of the project "Duyunov's motor", the tuk-tuk performed well in field tests conducted in Russia. SOLARGROUP's partners in India expressed interest in it. The development of this area, as well as work on the other vehicles with Duyunov's motors, are underway.

As you can see, stage 16 has become very fruitful: its main achievement is the almost completed outline of the D3333E building. There is still a large amount of work to be done before the construction is completed; effective implementation of this work requires not only the efforts of the project team, but, first and foremost, the financial support from the investors and partners.
