Victor Arestov: "If we want to reach the level of global manufacturers, we need to target the whole world"

Recently, we have published the first part of an interview with the head of ASPP Weihai Victor Arestov, in which he explains whether ASPP Weihai is a competitor of "Sovelmash", sheds light on the cooperation of ASPP Weihai with various organizations, and, of course, on the development of the project aimed at modernization of traditional Thai boats, which we have repeatedly written about.

In the continuation of the interview, Victor will talk about a new project — an all-wheel drive pickup truck, modernized by applying the combined winding technology "Slavyanka", about working on the first models of the new DA-132SL motor. Victor will also share information about promoting the combined winding technology "Slavyanka" on the market:

"We are developing the technology not only within Russia. If we want to reach the level of global manufacturers, we need to operate in other countries too. China is the largest market for electric motors. China accounts for 50% of all motors used in the world. Talking about further development of "Sovelmash", it is necessary to work with China, to offer our development there, in a country with a great potential for development of our products."

As for the new project, it is a four-wheel drive pickup truck with two DA-112SL electric motors modernized using the "Slavyanka" technology.

The development is based on the E300 passenger electric car that ASPP Weihai has certified for Europe. It is planned to install one DA-112SL electric motor on each axle - the front and the rear one. It is possible to install combined winding hub motors.

The work on a DA-132SL four-pole traction combined winding electric motor is also underway. The new motor has a larger diameter than the previous versions.
