Demand for the services of the future "Sovelmash" D&E | Category "Questions and Answers"

A frequent question from the project participants is as follows: "How much interest is there now in the services of the future "Sovelmash" D3333E? Is there any confidence that the D3333E will be provided with orders? If "yes", then what does it rest on?".

For your reference:
The goal of "Sovelmash" is making profit from commercialization of the combined winding technology "Slavyanka", and to achieve this goal, the design and engineering technology department (D3333E) is being constructed now.

The tasks of the D3333E at the "Alabushevo" site: problem statement, calculation, computer modeling, design, manufacturing, testing of electric machines in accordance with the requirements and terms of reference provided by enterprises (potential customers).

The electric motor market is growing, and according to the forecasts by BusinesStat, the global sales will amount to almost 10.0 billion units by 2023, which exceeds the figure for 2018 by 19.4%. The demand for induction motors is also increasing, and so are the requirements to them: more productive, energy-intensive and environmentally friendly solutions are needed. Today, 60% of the world's energy is consumed by induction electric motors. And "Sovelmash", as you know, is engaged in developing new-generation induction electric motors using the combined winding technology "Slavyanka".

To date, the technology has already established itself in the market of electric motors. The licensed winders have modernized hundreds of thousands of different induction electric motors around the world using the "Slavyanka" technology.

The technology's efficiency is confirmed, among other things, by independent tests conducted at various times by experts from scientific institutions and industrial enterprises, namely, the experts from University Düsseldorf, the University of Bologna, Belgorod University, "Veza" ventilation system production plant, and the "Sovelmash" laboratory.

These tests have demonstrated that even motors with initially good efficiency can be improved by replacing the standard winding with the combined type.
