February 15 is an important date in the history of the project "Duyunov's motors"
On February 15, 2019, "Sovelmash" became a resident of the special economic zone "Technopolis "Moscow". At the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi, the corresponding agreement was signed by the heads of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow, "Technopolis "Moscow" and "Sovelmash".
To build the design and engineering technology department (D&E), the company was leased a plot of land at the "Alabushevo" site in Zelenograd at a reduced rate.
"Technopolis "Moscow" is one of the best technoparks in the world according to the international rating and the best technology park in Russia. The D&E will operate under the most beneficial conditions possible in the Russian Federation:
• the income tax rate is 2%,
• the customs duty on imported goods is 0%,
• redeeming the land at 1% of the cadastral value, and other tax benefits.
This status is given only to the companies whose activities are promising and significant for the country's economy. To become a resident, "Sovelmash" and the company's project aimed at building an engineering center were subjected to numerous thorough inspections.
In the 4 years following obtaining its residency status, "Sovelmash" has accomplished many tasks, including some non-trivial ones:
• prepared the project documentation and obtained a construction permit,
• began building the D&E and continued to do so in the face of the pandemic and sanctions,
• was engaged in its own innovative developments and rightfully earned a reputation in the media and business circles as a promising company pursuing a strategy of forward-looking development.
These and other tasks have been accomplished thanks to your financial support. But the key milestone is yet to come: completing the D&E construction in the 3rd quarter of 2023, as scheduled under the agreement with the SEZ. But this is only possible with proper funding. Each of you can now support and accelerate the construction by investing in the project.
