Zelenograd's media about the "Sovelmash" D&E construction
Why are the "Slavyanka" based motor now mass-produced only in China?
Victor Arestov, the partner of "Sovelmash" and head of ASPP Weihai, a company that produces electric motors modernized by applying the "Slavyanka" technology, answered this frequently asked question. The video is available here.
Victor started out in Germany, where he conducted numerous tests of motors in the laboratories of factories and universities over the course of 7 years. The motors were tested on electric cars and electric bikes.
Citroёn, Renault Kangoo and Renault Twizy are the most acclaimed examples of "Slavyanka" based vehicles.
They showed excellent results and were remembered at major exhibitions.
However, the attempts to organize the production of an innovative product, which requires large start-up investments from major companies or the state, did not succeed in Europe and Russia.
The right opportunities were found in the East. In 2016, Victor Arrestov was invited to Thailand and then to China. A company named ASPP Weihai was established and provided with premises and funding. In 2018, the production of the first serial DA-90S combined winding motors was launched. For this, Victor Arestov was awarded the title of winner in the Taishan Industry Championship and received a grant of more than 1,800,000 yuan. Later, there were many other awards at the Chinese government level.
Now the "Slavyanka" based motors are installed on electric cars, motorcycles and golf carts, which are mass-produced and supplied not only to the Chinese market, but also to other countries.
Victor Arestov's main goal is to promote the developments and services of "Sovelmash". At present, work is in full swing in China to start mass production of motors and power tools with a "Slavyanka" based drive, which have been developed at "Sovelmash". This will allow the company to enter the global market and start earning revenue from its activities.
