Casting the interfloor slabs of "Sovelmash" D&E | Day 183

In the new video, we will show what activities are being carried out at the construction site where the "Sovelmash" D3333E is built.

The roofing work is underway, the insulation is being installed and the "Sovelmash" D3333E is being covered with the final roofing elements. Currently, the roof is being installed in places where the elevator shafts are located, as well as in places where the staircases exit to the roof. Most of the roofing work has already been completed.

The concrete construction is in full swing, the staircases are being cast, namely the staircases themselves using the formwork, as well as the steps inside the staircases.

At the same time, a large amount of work is being performed for casting the interfloor slabs for the 3rd floor. Yesterday, the far "map" that is located in the rear part of the building closer to the ramp group was cast. Today, the next "map", which is larger in size, is being cast.

Also, preparations for casting the 2nd floor interfloor slabs are underway: the reinforcing mesh and reinforcing frames are laid, they are strapped and prepared for warming up.

It is worth mentioning that all concrete construction activities are carried out in fairly harsh weather conditions (increased precipitation and subzero temperatures), so the builders needed to warm up the concrete for it to gain the necessary strength in accordance with the requirements that apply to it.

The D3333E building is becoming more and more complete. We can see how its walls, namely the inner part of the building envelope, are "growing". The panels have already been mounted on the single-storey extensions to the rear part of the building. The installation of enclosing structures on the extension to the front part of the building, the ramp group and the 3rd floor has started.
