The local media about the Thai boats with "Slavyanka"

In Thailand, TV channels turned their attention to a project aimed at replacing gasoline-powered boats with electric ones. We remind you that the partner of "Sovelmash" Victor Arestov took part in this project. The Thai boats were equipped with combined winding electric motors modernized by applying the "Slavyanka" technology, and solar panels.

The boats are used at the Damnoen Saduak floating market, which has once again become a lively tourist spot after the restrictions. Thanks to the "Slavyanka" technology, the vehicles can run only on solar power, without recharging from the mains.

The media notes that the boats help reduce noise, water pollution, and cut fuel costs. Therefore, the Thai government as well as the environmental organizations support and encourage a wider use of such boats.

One of the TV reports in Thai can be viewed by following the link. And this is not the only example of media interest in the eco-friendly river transport. Victor Arestov reports that the solar boats have already been shown on many Thai TV channels.
