News from the construction site of "Sovelmash" D&E

Recently, our company's employees Deputy General Director of Development at "Sovelmash" Artur Pronin and head of Data and Analytics Department Alexander Sudarev have visited the "Alabushevo" site and talked with the construction manager, the representative of our construction contractor HAKA MOSCOW — Aleksey Novikov, who gave us a little tour of the construction camp made in the format of operational headquarters and spoke about the ongoing activities on the construction of "Sovelmash" design and engineering technology department (D3333E).

On the territory of the HAKA MOSCOW headquarters, control over the construction of the engineering department (ED) is mainly carried out, including negotiations with the customer, daily meetings with foremen, subcontractors, etc. It has everything you need for comfortable project management: a meeting room, utility room, backup room, as well as offices of the project managers and construction superintendants. Also, the construction manager shared information about the current situation in the D3333E construction.
At the moment, the following works are being completed on the construction site:
- the vehicles with the metal structures produced by Astron, which we have already repeatedly told about, are being unloaded;
- the formwork is being made, in which the foundation concrete will be poured in the future;
- the pit foundation is being warmed up, including monitoring the temperature of the soil and the degree of ground thawing;
- outdoor lighting has been installed.

Formwork in modern construction is an auxiliary structure made of wood, metal or other materials that provides cast-in-place structures made of concrete, reinforced concrete, earth mixture and other building mixtures with certain shape parameters. The formwork or shuttering system consists of forming elements, supporting structures and fasteners. After the building mixture hardens, the formwork is usually removed. There is also a non-removable formwork that is not removed becoming part of the building structure.

The work is progressing rapidly, and "Sovelmash" is making the most of the opportunities in order to complete the construction and commissioning of the design and engineering technology department on time. Currently all the works are being carried out in accordance with the plan.
