Photo tour of "SovElMash": laser equipment

We continue to introduce to you the equipment thanks to which the project "Duyunov's motors" is getting improved day by day.

A year ago the first lot of laser equipment was delivered to "SovElMash" laboratory and we started mounting and adjusting it.
The main purpose of the unit is cutting electrical steel into plates that are used to make stator and rotor cores.

The laser makes the process of developing, producing and testing prototype models considerably easier by removing the necessity to order stamps for every plate size from a third-party manufacturer (which is expensive and takes a lot of time) and providing the opportunity to do that inhouse.

In the first half of 2019 "SovElMash" received the second laser unit required for completing a range of useful workflow processes. You can see the adjustment process in this video - https://youtu.be/hEJASlqbdWc
Both units comply with all the requirements to a modern research and technology laboratory.
