Motorcycles with Duyunov's motors: the owners' impressions

Two new combined winding vehicles were presented at the meeting of electric transport enthusiasts Electroday 2020.
This is the STELS Trigger 50 SM motorcycle with a DA-100S motor modernized by the investor of the project "Duyunov's motors" Georgiy Chanin. Another motorcycle is XMOTO MSX125 electric bike with a size-318 induction hub motor from the project partner and popular video blogger Nikolay Maklaud.

The motorcycle owners attended the event and gave an interview to Alexander Sudarev.

Nikolay Maklaud shared his impressions of riding the bike that he had modernized just a couple of days before Electroday by installing a size-318 combined winding hub motor. Previously, this motor was used on an Irbis Grace scooter and operated in very harsh conditions.

Nikolay emphasized that you could feel no vibrations when riding the hub motor motorcycle unlike similar BLDC rivals: "It goes smoothly, and the sound is like a flying saucer¨ The coasting is fantastic. The magnet hub motors also have it, but it is much stronger here."

The XMOTO MSX125 electric bike with a hub motor is not the first "Slavyanka"-based vehicle made by Nikolay Maklaud. A lot of the project investors are familiar with the BOSS motorcycle with a DA-90S motor installed on it: Nikolay has repeatedly published videos of its performance tests on his YouTube channel.

For another project investor Georgiy Chanin from Dmitrov, the STELS Trigger 50 SM motorcycle has become the first vehicle that he installed a combined winding motor on. "Since my very childhood, I'd had a dream to make an electric motorcycle, and thanks to Duyunov's motors, I finally made it come true," the mechanic shared.

He noted that plenty of visitors were interested in his motorcycle at Electroday and they were all amazed and happy that the motor uses Russian technology. In the interview, Georgiy spoke about the performance of his motorcycle calling it a road "monster".
