"You are the first to bring something tangible to Ohrid" - environmentalists and shipowners about the "Slavyanka" technology

At the end of last year, Andrey Lobov, Director of the "Resurs" production cooperative, visited North Macedonia, where he brought a boat motor based on an electric motor with the "Slavyanka" combined winding.

The motor was tested on Lake Ohrid on different types of boats, with the participation of people interested in applying the technology. We told you about those tests earlier.

In addition to tests on the water, Andrey Lobov held several meetings where he presented the technology and the project to environmentalists, ship owners and business people. The guests were highly impressed by the information they received and the participation in the boat tests.

Igor Jovceski, employee of the Ohrid Captain's Office, boat owner
"I was pleasantly surprised. We've already seen electric motors on scooters and in the car industry, they've been in use for a long time. But this time we had the opportunity to see how they are used on boats, on the water, right here in our hometown, on Ohrid Lake.... When we tested it, it was perfect: no noise, no pollution. I think for those kilowatts it's even more powerful than the petrol one."

Boris Stojanoski, President of Grasnica Environmental Society, Ohrid
"You are the first to bring something tangible to Ohrid, allowing us to see the outboard motor live, experience it in person, test it on our Ohrid boats and demonstrate its efficient operation. We have been convinced that it lives up to its name, is reliable and will therefore be an asset to our lake."

Goran Ustijanoski, Head of the Ohrid Harbour Captain's Office
"Ohrid is a city protected by UNESCO, which is known to many tourists, navigation and sport fishing enthusiasts. Therefore, we are very interested in ensuring that Lake Ohrid, as the largest drinking water reserve in Europe, retains its uniqueness."

Businesses and environmentalists in Ohrid are seriously interested in the technology and intend to use it on the lake already this year.
