Andrey Lobov spoke about the technology and the project to students and professors at San Marcos University
On May 25, as part of a SOLARGROUP delegation's visit to Latin America, the "Slavyanka" technology was presented at the region's oldest university and Peru's most prestigious institution of higher education, National University of San Marcos.
Andrey Lobov, head of the "Resurs" production cooperative, addressed professors, the dean of the university and engineering students. He showed them combined winding electric motors made by ASPP Weihai, as well as a "Slavyanka" based boat motor he had brought from Russia. These motors will remain in the SOLARGROUP office in Lima, and everyone will be able to get a closer look at them in the future.
Andrey Lobov spoke about the advantages and practical applications of the technology in vehicles, as well as about the project in general. The audience found out which vehicles the "Slavyanka" based motors are applicable for in their country. First of all, tuk-tuks and boats were noted. The technology makes it possible to use electric vehicles:
• in cities to reduce noise and air pollution,
• in conservation areas where petrol vehicles are prohibited,
• and at high altitudes, where ICE vehicles can operate intermittently.
The audience was very receptive to the delegation from Russia and the new information. Many questions were asked about the technology.
Thanks to the meeting, the "Slavyanka" technology and "Sovelmash" was introduced to Peru's scientific engineering community and future engineers, who will be able to apply and promote the technology in their country, in government and educational institutions and in business.
