Results of Andrey Lobov's trip to North Macedonia
Andrey Lobov, head of the "Resurs" production cooperative, and the partners of SOLARGROUP tested a boat motor with the "Slavyanka" combined winding and held several business meetings in North Macedonia.
At Ohrid Mayor's Office, they met with the local environmentalists, who are concerned about the pollution of Lake Ohrid Lake by emissions from boats with internal combustion engines. The subsequent meetings were attended by Ohrid fishermen and business people, who previously did not have an optimally efficient substitute for petrol-powered vehicles, but now they do.
Andrey Lobov told them about boats with the DA-95S electric motor. The participants of the meetings took these boats for a ride and tested the "Slavyanka" based boat motor on their own vehicles.
The key bottom line of the meetings: the project with solar boats in Macedonia is going to be implemented. Over the winter, the partners of SOLARGROUP will prepare a six-metre boat with a "Slavyanka" based motor and install solar panels on it.
Andrey Lobov is sure: "Next season on Ohrid we will see a "green" solar boat with an attached motor by "Resurs" taking tourists for a ride. It may well be that we will have time to launch a larger boat with a stationary motor, which the team of the "Resurs" production cooperative has already started to develop".
By the time Andrey Lobov arrived, the partners of SOLARGROUP had held several conferences in different cities of North Macedonia.
On November 10 - in Bitola, on November 11 - in Ohrid and on November 13 - in Skopje. The guests who attended the events asked a lot of technically oriented questions, inquired about the "Sovelmash" D&E construction and the purchase of investment packages in the project.
