Motor with "Slavyanka" and solar panels. Preparatory tests of Victor Arestov

Not so long ago Victor Arestov shared the news with the project participants about the start of partnership of ASPP Weihai with the producers of solar panels in Asia. The first product of this partnership will be a golf cart with solar panels.

And so far Victor Arestov conducted preparatory tests on a small electric car Lijo Apple equipped with DA-100SL motor with "Slavyanka" with the rated voltage of 72 Volt.

For further use with solar panels, a 48 Volt 26 Ampere hour battery with the capacity of 1.2 kilowatt hour was manufactured that is equivalent to the amount of electrical energy that one panel produces during a sunny day. It was also mounted on the electric car.

Before conducting the tests two tasks were set:

1. Determine the suitability of using this motor at the voltage of 48 Volt.

2. Determine the maximum possible trip distance for the future "solar" car without additional charge from mains. I.e. using only solar energy.

Both goals were successfully achieved.

Using the battery capacity without recharging, the electric car drove 31.5 km, the specific energy consumption was only 40 Watt hour/km, and this is a great result with a view to the future project - the golf cart, taking into consideration the fact that its standard maximum speed is 25 km/hour. Such cars travel about 30 km per day being exposed to the sun for the whole time.
