News from the "Sovelmash" D&E construction site
The "Sovelmash" D&E construction is in full swing. Today, preparation of the construction site for work with external engineering utility networks continues, including off-site earthwork; soil blasting has been performed.
The reinforcement of the platform for the climate control unit is being completed; this will soon allow for casting the slab, after which the concrete construction work will be completed. The heating equipment has been moved to another part of the building in order to begin tile laying. Preparations are in progress to start working on the storm drainage system.
The laying of floor tiles on the first floor of the D&E is beginning; the metal structures and sandwich panels are being moved from the temporary storage area into the building, which, in particular, will make it possible to start erecting the first floor interior partitions. In the office and amenity building (O&A), the installation of interior partitions is underway on the second floor and has already started on the third floor.
