Recent updates at DETB Sovelmash over the past two days: event overview

Learn more about the Duyunov Motors project.

Active efforts are ongoing at DETB "Sovelmash" to prepare for the serial production of innovative electric motors. Several important developments over the past two days have brought the company closer to this goal.

First, the assembly and installation of a rack for heavy tooling used in stamping operations has been completed. The final step is to anchor it in place. This rack will help optimize the workspace and provide convenient storage for essential equipment.

Second, metal mobile containers have arrived at DETB’s premises. These containers are designed for collecting and transporting waste from the stamping of electrical steel. This is an important step in organizing the waste disposal process and maintaining cleanliness in production areas.

In addition, completed rotors of size 318 with a 55 mm stack have been received. These rotors feature a squirrel cage mounting. Testing has shown that this design does not compromise the electromechanical performance of the motor, while allowing for a reduction in rotor weight and dimensions, as well as lowering production costs in mass manufacturing. Looking ahead, the implementation of robotic welding is planned for rotor manufacturing.

Frames for the size 318 motor with a 50 mm stack have also been prepared. They are now ready for the installation of the stator stack.
