Victor Arestov. Testing "Slavyanka" technology in Dusseldorf and not only

Victor Arestov told about the first independent tests of general purpose industrial motors.
One of them has become quite well-known in the framework of the project "Duyunov's motors" and is held in the Higher School at Dusseldorf University.
For the tests a 7.5 kW motor was provided. The task was to test the original motor and then modernize it by rewinding to "Slavyanka" and compare the results.
The tests demonstarted that the "Slavyanka" modernized motor:
- has 30% bigger torque
- consumes up to 30% less electrical energy
Victor Arestov showed the testing graphs and commented on the obtained results.

The next test held in the same laboratory was commissioned by the Saint Petersburg company "SPBEK". The test was held to see how the "Slavyanka" winding would influence the performance of the motors produced by well-known companies . Siemens motors were chosen for rewinding - an original motor and a "Slavyanka" rewound motor.
As a result the second motor demonstrated higher efficiency in the whole performance range. This test showed that even motors with initially good efficiency could be enhanced by simply changing the winding.

The main goal of the laboratory in Zelenograd and the future engineering centre is to shift from modernization and changing winding to changing the hardware design completely adapting it to the new winding type. This will definitely bring motors to a whole new level.
