Today at the Nova office: preparing for a stratospheric flight

Find out who will build airships in Russia and when.

Were you eager to see the first device from Nova Company? We are ready to show it to you!

This Sunday, October 27th, we plan to launch a stratospheric device in Pereslavl-Zalessky. Our application for the launch has already been approved!

Friends, getting the application approved is a significant achievement. And it's challenging! The launch is permitted ONLY on Saturdays and Sundays. Moreover, the weather conditions must be suitable for the task, as we do not wish to broadcast snow or rain to you. We need the support of each one of you! Let us all hope together that the weather on Sunday will allow us to accomplish our plan. 🙏

A stratospheric device is a balloon designed for flights in the stratosphere at altitudes exceeding 11 km, intended for scientific research, astronomical observations, and more.

🚀 How does such a launch proceed? We will lift our first designed stratospheric device into the stratosphere, for which we have developed two communication systems. Live video streaming on the internet, HD quality, live broadcast! The first system is low-power for small stratospheric devices. The second is ultra-powerful for more advanced stratospheric platforms in the future. Both systems will be tested immediately! The flight will last 1.5 hours. We will provide more details today in the webinar, don't miss it.

🌐 Why conduct such a launch? Exploring the stratosphere from the perspective of communication systems is highly advantageous and promising. Therefore, at Nova Company, we are engaged in stratospheric developments, among other things. To eventually reach large stratospheric platforms of the airship type, we are starting with the launch of small stratospheric probes. Join us at the webinar today to learn more about the devices we will launch before the New Year!

Right now, we are conducting tests on the electromagnetic compatibility of the low-power and ultra-powerful data transmission systems. We will soon share the results of this experiment with you. The next stage is field ground tests, which we hope to broadcast live to you on Sunday.
