Golf car with "Slavyanka" stands out in field tests

A solar golf car developed by Solar Power Glory and equipped with the combined winding DA-100SL motor produced by ASPP Weihai has been tested in China in real-life conditions.

The vehicle with a 410-watt battery was used on the golf course for the whole day. After running more than 10 km, the battery charge did not decrease at all from the original 100 %. Solar power fully compensated for the motor operation and recharged the battery during a golf game in 1 hour and 40 minutes.

And that was in the conditions of November that is not the most sunny time. On a sunny summer day, such a golf car can travel up to 40 km without recharging, using solar power alone. These are record figures: a standard golf car has a significantly lower distance range and speed.

Earlier we have reported that a prototype golf car with Duyunov's motor and a thin-film solar battery on the roof was created about 1 year ago. Over this time, it has passed a lot of different tests that meet the developers' expectations. At the moment, 2-, 4-, 6- and 8-seater cars have been developed. All of them have received European certificates and are being prepared to enter the Asian and world markets.

To recap, the company Solar Power Glory in China cooperates with the partner of "SovElMash" Victor Arestov. His company ASPP Weihai Technology modernizes standard factory-supplied motors under license using the "Slavyanka" combined winding technology. Thus, even before the opening of "SovElMash" design and engineering department, Duyunov's technology is becoming well-known and in-demand worldwide.
