Results of the meeting with the management of "Technopolis "Moscow" SEZ
Last week, the "Sovelmash" design and engineering technology department was visited by a commission headed by Gennadiy Dyogtev, CEO of "Technopolis "Moscow". Then the management of the special economic zone held a meeting with residents on construction, fulfilment of the contractual terms, investment plans and commencement of production.
Dmitriy Duyunov spoke about the results of the meeting: "Given that we have entered an active phase of work on the application documents for the completion of construction, we are requested to provide a date for the start of production. It is not easy for them to perceive the mechanics of the D&E operation, so the wording is the 'start of production'. The target date for us is to go into production by the end of July."
Production will start with three models of the angle grinder, the certificates for which have been received in due time.
"Sovelmash" is also currently ready to execute orders for some models of combined winding electric motors:
• water-cooled motors for heavy duty applications at high temperatures,
• built-in brushless induction motors together with a frequency converter,
• motors for growth units of monocrystalline materials.
Moreover, "Sovelmash" accepts orders for lathing, milling and laser cutting. The revenue generated will be used to accelerate the construction and put the plant into operation.

Work on the construction site and at the production areas is in full swing. Tooling and parts for electric motors are being manufactured. Sixteen jobs have already been set up in the D&E, taken up by the employees of "Sovelmash".
Internal finishing and work on the internal engineering networks is underway. On March 15, "Sovelmash" received another 21 million rubles to its settlement accounts, totalling 44 million rubles in the first half of the month.
The newly received funds will be used to pay for the materials and work on the third floor of the production building. The floor screeding and floor covering are to be completed there.
Accelerated funding is much needed now in order to complete the D&E construction as soon as possible and launch production as scheduled. Every investment you make goes straight to work and helps speed things up!
