Progress of the "Sovelmash" D&E construction in Moscow | "Duyunov's motors" project

A year ago, on May 25, 2021, a time capsule with the names and wishes of the project participants was buried on the territory where the "Sovelmash" D&E is being built. At that time there was only an excavated pit, some concreted billets and reinforcing frames for the foundation at the construction site. It's been a year, and now you can see the result of work completed by a huge number of people - engineers, designers, builders, employees of the construction administration, economic planning department, all the participants in the project "Duyunov's motors".

Today, the D&E building looks almost complete. At the current stage, most of the work on closing the heating circuit and the installation of building envelopes has been completed; almost all the interior partition walls on the third floor of the building have been installed, and this is only a small part of work that has already been done. Indeed, a lot has been done, but the work is still in progress being done in different areas. The bay window panoramic glazing is being installed, casting the concrete base for the one-story extension of the building is underway; roofing and many other activities are in progress, which you will learn about by watching this video.

This year's performance, both in terms of the construction and the developments we talked about in recent videos, is the result of work done by professionals. But the construction deadlines are directly linked to the influx of funding, and as of today, each project participant has the opportunity to influence the deadline for the "Sovelmash" D&E commissioning.
