Will Russian technology open up new opportunities for fishing and tourism in Benin?

The first ever tests of a boat motor using Slavyanka technology have taken place in Africa. Around 30 people gathered at Lake Nokoué to witness the technology in action under real conditions. Among the attendees were members of the Benin Fishermen’s Association (including the president, vice president, and mechanics), as well as investors and top partners of SOLARGROUP projects. Andrey Lobov, Director of PC Resurs, answered their questions about the electric motor and potential opportunities for collaboration.

Everyone was impressed by how smoothly and quietly the heavy wooden boat, carrying about twenty people, moved across the water with minimal energy consumption.
