This question was asked to Dmitriy Duyunov during one of the "Expert Time" broadcasts. Indeed, in the project's back office, the price of the investment packages is stated in dollars. However, the company "SovElMash" receives the funds in rubles, and this currency is also used for compiling the estimates: as required by the Russian legislation. At the same time, the equipment and services that are ordered from abroad are paid for in dollars.

As Dmitriy Duyunov has noted earlier, this is another reason why the project budget is adjusted. Besides, the equipment orders from abroad are reviewed. For example, it was decided to opt out of the winding equipment supply from China since its price had increased threefold.

"SovElMash" uses every opportunity to reduce the costs associated with currency fluctuations, but it is impossible to completely avoid them, you can only adjust the project development process, which is what the team is doing.
