Today is an important date in the history of the project "Duyunov's motors"
On February 15, 2019, "Sovelmash" became a resident of the special economic zone "Technopolis "Moscow". The company was granted this status for the project of an engineering centre for the development of innovative electric motors. Thus, the state recognised the activities of the future enterprise as promising and significant for the country's economy.
In order to become a resident, "Sovelmash" passed a series of rigorous checks. Then, at the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi, an agreement was signed between the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow, the special economic zone "Technopolis "Moscow" and "Sovelmash".
"Sovelmash" got a plot of land at the "Alabushevo" site in Zelenograd leased at a preferential price for the construction of the design and engineering technology department.
"Technopolis "Moscow" is one of the best technoparks in the world according to the international ranking. And the best in Russia for the third year in a row.
The "Sovelmash" D&E will operate under the most favourable conditions:
• the income tax rate of 2% until 2028 and 7 % thereafter,
• 0% customs duty on imported goods,
• land redemption of 1% of the cadastral value and other tax benefits.
"Sovelmash" has come a long and difficult way in the 5 years since obtaining the resident status. It prepared the project documentation and obtained a construction permit, and almost completely built the D&E. The construction is scheduled to be completed this year.
