"Sovelmash" D&E: latest photos from the construction site

Construction of the "Sovelmash" engineering center is in full swing. To recap, in October last year, "Sovelmash" obtained a permit for the construction of the design and engineering technology department on a land plot in the SEZ "Technopolis "Moscow". Over this time, the construction site has been transformed. We share the latest photos from the construction site at the milestone in the project funding stages.

Work on erecting the foundation began in the winter. For several months, except for the severely cold weather and continuous snowfalls, the pit was being prepared and the concrete blanks were being cast. In the spring, after the snow had melted, the construction entered the most active phase of work. And now we see how concrete structures have grown throughout the entire area of the future building, which will be the support for the metal frame. The metal frame parts themselves are already manufactured and most of them have been unloaded at the site.

The concrete pouring continues at a good pace and in accordance with the working documentation. Soon, concreting of the base for the stairwell will begin. Erecting the foundation is a particularly significant stage in the construction of any building, so all works are being carefully monitored by specialists.

The construction of the D3333E is performed in accordance with the schedule. "Sovelmash" does everything possible to optimize the construction process both in terms of deadlines and costs. The company adheres to a clear plan for the sequence of activities and the purchase of materials. For example, an advance payment has recently been made to manufacture D3333E equipment. It was done at the best possible moment, before the increase in metal prices. By the time the building is erected, the equipment will be manufactured and it will be possible to immediately start its installation.
