Eleventh in the world and fourth in Africa: SOLARGROUP's national representative office opened in Togo
On September 12, the international conference was held in the country's capital Lomé that featured the opening of SOLARGROUP's national representative office and presentation of the project "Duyunov's motors".
The event was held to a packed house which demonstrated high interest to the project in Togo. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, only 50 selected guests were able to participate in the event, although there were much more people who wanted to. The participants included newcomers not yet familiar with the project, several VIP guests, the investors, partners, and leaders from Togo, Benin, and Côte d'Ivoire who arrived to the country specially to attend the conference.
SOLARGROUP's top officials addressed the audience via a videoconference.
The public speech of the company's CEO Sergey Semyonov evoked a keen response in the audience. Without downplaying the risks, he convinced the audience of the serious nature and broad prospects of the project. He also shared his vision for the development of the project and answered questions from the participants.
Pavel Filippov, head of the advertising and public relations department, spoke about the project's achievements and the upcoming start of construction of the design and engineering technology department.
Pavel Shadskiy, head of the partner network development department, presented the opportunities of the partner program and appointed Gilles Weber to the position of a national representative in Togo.
Gilles Weber attended the conference in person. Togo is the fifth country that he introduced to the project "Duyunov's motors", after France, Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal, and Benin. Gilles Weber held a presentation of the project, and then a workshop for SOLARGROUP's partners who highly appreciated and adopted the received advice. The national representative made the gifts to the most successful partners as a thank-you for their active work.
The leading partners in Africa Elolo SAMATY (Togo), Cyril Dossou and Alphonse Hessouh (Benin), Guy Arnaud Atinkpahoun (Côte d'Ivoire) charged up the guests with motivation to invest and engage in partner activity. The national representative's assistant Barbara Sacca-Kina provided practical explanations on operating the back office.
Gilles Weber noted that the conference that lasted more than 6 hours perfectly fulfilled its tasks: "The event participants were fascinated by the project and appreciated the advice and workshop that took place in the second part of the conference. Most of the guests expressed their willingness to invest in the project, whereas previously they'd perceived it differently."

The strategy of opening SOLARGROUP's national representative offices continues to pay dividends: over the past six months, the number of the project investors in Togo has increased almost 3 times amounting to 250 people — which is an excellent indicator for a small African country. We have no doubt that the popularity of the project "Duyunov's motors" in Togo will only grow due to the active work of SOLARGROUP's partners after the conference at the regular offline meetings in different cities.
