A new step towards producing the "Sovelmash" angle grinders

For the first time, "Sovelmash" completed stator slot insulation in an automated mode on an automatic slotting unit of its own inhouse design and production. The stator will be used in the angle grinder, also developed by "Sovelmash".
The automatic machine makes the slot boxes from a strip of insulating material and mounts them in the slot.
Meanwhile, the machine itself is the size of a microwave, while the Chinese counterpart is the size of a chest of drawers.
It's an important milestone! It brings the company closer to the start of automated production of its own inhouse-developed angle grinders.
