Installation of the "Sovelmash" D&E walls has begun | Day 165

Today, November 19, is an important day in the "Sovelmash" project. At the construction site where the "Sovelmash" design and engineering technology department (D3333E) is being erected, the installation of the enclosing structures - the inner part of the building walls — has started. The presence of such partitions will provide protection from the wind, that is, the building will freeze less, which, in turn, will reduce the amount of additional work required to pour concrete in cold weather. Concrete, thus, will gain the necessary strength faster, which will allow the following activities to be carried out in accordance with the schedule.

Casting of the staircase steps has been completed. It is now safer and more comfortable to climb to the upper floors of the D3333E building.

A number of other activities are also underway in accordance with the construction plan.
