The week results in the project "Duyunov's motors"

The key news of the last summer week is successful certification of "SovElMash" laboratory.

Besides, the project team continues the planned activities in other lines.
The processes are being completed within the planned timing, thanks to that by now "SovElMash" has collected a lot of tangible and intangible assets: patents, specifications, electric motor testing procedures and methods, pre-project terms of reference for the engineering centre building, modern process equipment and more.

News from "SovElMash" laboratory

The long-awaited event! On Friday, August 30 the representatives of "Gosstandart" (State Committee for Standards and Product Quality Management) checked the operation of the test bench for rotating electric machines in "SovElMash" laboratory. The state certification was successfully passed which is proved by the issued documents. It means that now the laboratory is capable of certifying the inhouse developed motors in accordance with the regulations of EurAsEC (Eurasian Economic Community).

The first pilot batch of "SovElMash" controllers comprising 10 units is being produced. In the beginning of the next week the team will start testing the first pilot models. If no adjustment is required, "SovElMash" will start developing the next version of size 318 hub motor fully adapted for its own controller.

Innovative centre construction

Before the first foundation stone is laid, a lot of preparatory work needs to be done. It is currently well underway:
the equipment continues clearing the construction site and preparing the ground for erecting the hoarding;
the hoarding structures are being made;
the information certificate for the construction project is being produced and is to be put at the construction site on September 6.

Dmitriy Duyunov says that prior to the start of the centre construction, it's necessary to build the construction camp, customs terminal, checkpoint, cleaning facilities for the equipment, construction site temporary roads, etc.

News from the project partners

The administrations of Kaluga and Obninsk have taken an interest in applying the "Slavyanka" based motors within the framework of the "Smart City" system. The local authorities learnt about the advantages of Duyunov's motors thanks to the leading project partner Andrey Lobov. At the moment the team of "SovElMash" are discussing the prospects of partnership with the authorities of Kaluga.

New webinar format

Last week we organized online streaming right from Zelenograd, the territory of "SovElMash", with the participation of the leading company's experts. The daytime for the webinars has been chosen especially for the participants from the regions of Russia with remote location from Moscow. The new format will be held on the weekly basis.
