The engineering center construction was in full swing at the "Sovelmash" construction site for the whole week.
• The builders have finished pouring concrete into the interfloor slabs on the second floor. But the concrete work will continue. The third floor of the office and amenity building is being cleaned of snow and prepared for pouring concrete.
• Start of lifting the materials for the installation of interior walls to the third floor. Very soon, the walls will begin to grow in the testing-and-production and warehouse parts of the building.
• The firebreak wall has increased in height, having reached the third floor.
• The construction of the last flight of stairs continued.
• Thermal insulation work began. After it is completed, the builders will proceed to the installation of the exterior cladding.
Tests of new motors with "Slavyanka" by ASPP Weihai were conducted in China. The head of the company Victor Arestov said that the production of the DA-100S and DA-100SL motors will be discontinued. They will be replaced by new, four-pole ones. They will be slightly smaller in size and weight, but with improved performance characteristics both in terms of efficiency and speed. The motors will be installed on motorcycles with the speed of 110-120 km/h and on cars where a speed of 70-80 km/h is required.
Another new motor of a smaller size - size 80 - will be used on lighter vehicles.
All motors performed very well in the tests. Mass production of the new electric motors with "Slavyanka" will be launched after the Chinese New Year celebration.
