Weekly summary for the Duyunov Motors project
At Sovelmash, the manufacture of parts for angle grinders continues. Work necessary for mass production of other products is also underway.
• Output of components for the angle grinder is increasing. The first batch is expected at the end of May.
• The rotor casting process has been mastered. The average casting rate is 4 rotors in 3 minutes.
• After being press-fitted onto the shaft, the rotors are finish-machined to final size.
• Issues related to the modeling of the working surfaces, identified during testing of harmonic gearboxes, are being corrected.
All efforts are now focused on preparing for the facility’s official launch.
