Results of the week in the project "Duyunov's motors"
The much-awaited result in the construction of the "Sovelmash" design and engineering technology department has been achieved. The construction workers connected the first engineering network: the sanitary sewer.
Work was also in progress to connect power and water supply and landscape the area. The low-current networks, the Internet and video surveillance were being installed. The grounding loop was mounted. Excess soil was removed from the site and part of the fence was dismantled.
Inside the building, interior finishing, installation of interior partition walls and commissioning of the automated production line were underway.
The DA-95S electric motors won the tests conducted by Autoflex Knott Inc., the world's leading manufacturer of trailer components. The motors are modernized by applying the "Slavyanka" technology and manufactured under licence at ASPP Weihai in China.
The company tested many motors from various manufacturers over a course of a year, both induction motors and magnet motors, before opting for combined winding motors. The "Slavyanka" based motors have been chosen as the best motors for trailer axles because they offer safety, manoeuvrability and fuel savings.
The multi-day Solar Race 2023 continues in Kazakhstan. It features a tuk-tuk with a "Slavyanka" based motor, prepared by the "Resurs" production cooperative. The participants have the task of covering a distance of around 2,700 km on solar power alone, without recharging from the mains. The tuk-tuk is no stranger to facing difficulties, but it is pulling it off. Our team's goal for the race is to test the vehicle and motor under real-life conditions.
