DA-95S electric motors win the tests by Autoflex Knott Inc.
A milestone event for spreading the "Slavyanka" technology in the world market! The combined winding motors have been selected specifically for use on trailers made by Autoflex Knott Inc.
This news has been announced by Victor Arestov, head of ASPP Weihai, the company that participated in the competition with its DA-95S electric motors. To recap, these motors are modernised by applying the "Slavyanka" technology and manufactured under licence at Arestov's factory in China.
Autoflex Knott Inc. is a leading global manufacturer, producing over 500,000 axles and thousands of different types of trailer parts every year. The company needed reliable, practical and safe motors for trailer axles. Before opting for combined winding motors, the company tested many motors from a variety of manufacturers over the course of a year, both induction motors and, predominantly, permanent magnet motors.
The "Slavyanka" based motors have been favoured as the best because they provide:
• efficient ascent and descent in mountainous terrain through braking and recuperation,
• fuel saving,
• safety on sharp turns thanks to stabilization of motion,
• manoeuvring with the trailer unhitched using the control panel.
Victor Arestov commented on the news: "This work was going on for a long time and there was no authorisation to reveal secrets. Everything has now been put into production. And it is not a small company, but a globally renowned one with branches and markets in many countries."
2023 World Power Battery Conference recently opened at the Yibin International Exhibition Centre in Sichuan. A delegation from Autoflex Knott Inc. was also invited as a guest of honour and featured its trailers with "Slavyanka" based motors at the exhibition.
