Electroday 2020: details of the event
6 hours of sunny weather and the atmosphere charged with passion and love for electric transport. On August 23, Moscow hosted Electroday 2020: the largest gathering of fans of electric motor vehicles in Russia. The event was held for the second time: the organizers noted a significant increase in the number of participants compared to last year. There were also much more vehicles with Duyunov's motors than a year ago!
The focal point of the event was the sporting races MOSCOW ELECTROFEST RACING 2020. The participants riding unicycles, electric skateboards and electric stand-up scooters competed on the ring track, there were also test rides of electric motorcycles. The race winners were awarded prizes, and the first prize was an electric motorcycle!
The exhibition of one-, two-, three - and four-wheeled vehicles with electric drives was held next to the race track. The guests of Electroday 2020 viewed and tested the latest models of electric vehicles there.
One of the most notable sites was the stand of the project "Duyunov's motors" that featured unusual vehicles: the tricycle "Muravey" (the "Ant"), the electric snowdog, the electric dumper "Motomul" and, of course, the electric motor sled. The picturesque "Emelya's sled" stood out sharply at Electroday 2020 leading the parade of electric vehicles and being the most popular vehicle for rent.
Besides, the electric motorcycle Suzuki AX-100 modernized by Victor Arestov participated in the exhibition.
The main thing that made these vehicles stand out against the rest of the exhibits was the DA-90S combined winding motors installed on them. Everyone who personally tested the vehicles got convinced of their excellent performance features: fast acceleration, power, high speed and maneuverability.
The vehicles with "Slavyanka" were provided by Andrey Lobov and the company STIIN. The event was also attended by the partners who participated in creating and modernizing these vehicles: the head of the company "Motomul" Sergey Mokrov and blogger Matvey Plotnikov.
Electroday 2020 also featured the models of vehicles with other types of combined winding motors.
The investor of the project "Duyunov's motors" Georgiy Chanin arrived on a motorcycle STELS Trigger 50 SM that he independently converted into an electric one by installing a DA-100S motor on it.
Another project partner and popular blogger Nikolay Maklaud modernized the XMOTO MSX125 motorcycle: now it has size-318 Duyunov's hub motor previously used on the Irbis Grace scooter.
