Questions & Answers / Why is energy efficiency of electric motors important?
The world needs motors that save energy. More and more people are becoming aware of this. In many European countries, electric motors with an energy efficiency class lower than IE3 are prohibited by law. Manufacturers are switching to the production of IE4 and IE5 class motors, but these motors are larger in size and more expensive to produce. This is another reason why the widespread use of energy-efficient motors is being slowed down.
Duyunov's team offers the world the "Slavyanka" technology using which "SovElMash" creates class IE3 and IE4 motors with the mass and dimensions of class IE1.
If such combined winding motors were used everywhere, the air, soil, and water on the planet would become cleaner.
Dmitriy Duyunov has analyzed how energy efficiency of motors affects the planet's environment and people's quality of life. Watch the video with his comments and share it with your friends!
