But this is only one of the areas of work the company's laboratory is engaged in. The head of the laboratory Alexander Semyonov told about what other tasks are performed there. The main task is to conduct motor testing. To implement it, you need modern high-precision equipment that has passed verification and certification, and the laboratory staff must constantly maintain its performance.

Another important area of work is the maintenance of technical documentation that must comply with all the applicable GOST standards. The state standards, in turn, are changing, and the technical documentation needs to be adjusted in accordance with these changes. According to Alexander Semyonov, currently the documentation almost fully meets the requirements of the latest GOST 2019.

Besides, the laboratory staff continuously enhance the test methods, work on improving the accuracy and automation of the processes and improving their expertise.

Everything that has been developed and continues to be developed in the "SovElMash" laboratory is a valuable intangible asset that will be transported to the new premises of the innovative center. The company employees will not have to spend time on elaborating the processes after the launch of the design and engineering technology department and they will be able to start completing orders for motor development earlier.
