National representative office of SOLARGROUP opens in Cameroon
On March 13, Douala, the largest city in the country, hosted an international conference to celebrate this event. A limited number of participants (50 people) were able to attend the event in order to comply with health safety measures in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Among them, there were newcomers not yet familiar with the project, partners and investors from Cameroon and Benin, as well as several VIP guests.
At the beginning of the conference, the guests were addressed by the leading partners from Cameroon: Victor Mouandjo Essombe, Elie Myano Touah and Alex Nguepi. They shared their impressions of the project and told why they actively support it.
National partner Gilles Weber made a presentation of the project. From him, the participants of the conference got a comprehensive idea of how the "Slavyanka" technology and investments in the project can be useful to each of them.
After that, the assistant of the national partner Barbara Sacca-Kina provided practical recommendations for operating the back office.
The highlights of the conference were the speeches of SOLARGROUP's representatives made via a videoconference. Pavel Filippov, head of advertising and public relations, spoke about the achievements of the project and the construction progress of the design and engineering department, and stressed the interest in developing the technology around the world, especially in Africa. Pavel Shadskiy, head of the partner network at SOLARGROUP, congratulated Gilles Weber on his appointment as a national partner in Cameroon. Now he represents the company in 6 countries at once: Cameroon, France, Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal, Benin and Togo.
Gilles Weber, in turn, noted the work of the most active partners from different countries of Africa, by honoring them with gifts, and also congratulated the team in Cameroon on the successful work carried out over the past two months. Special thanks from the national partner and the company were given to Barbara Sacca-Kina for her hard work and invaluable assistance in organizing the conference, as well as for her daily work in advising the project participants.
At the end, Gilles Weber held a workshop for the partners, shared his unique experience of running a partner business and told what a partner needs for a successful start.
The conference in Douala lasted more than 6 hours, and the participants took a keen interest in the project. Gilles Weber shares his impressions of the event.
"My impressions are very positive, the participants were satisfied, the event became a landmark for this country, and many skeptics now have a better idea of the project "Duyunov's motors" and SOLARGROUP. Many guests stayed until the very end and expressed their willingness to invest in the project. The work in Cameroon will continue thanks to the activity of the local leaders. A federation and two associations approved by the authorities of Douala and Yaoundé are being established in order to promote the project in Cameroon."
We would like to add that to date SOLARGROUP has opened its representative offices in 6 countries in Africa.
