"Slavyanka" powered tuk-tuk takes part in Solar Race 2023

Kazakhstan will host a multi-day race for solar vehicles in June. A tuk-tuk equipped with a combined winding motor participates in it. The car is being prepared for the race by Andrey Lobov's team. The pilot is Vladimir Popov, an investor in the project "Duyunov's motors" and a member of Club 1000.

The race starts on June 11 in Uralsk. The participants will have to cover about 2,700 kilometres in very tough conditions, exposed to 40° Celsius heat. The finish line is June 27 in Almaty.

The "Slavyanka" based tricycle will be the only factory-made rather than self-made vehicle, and the only vehicle to feature an induction motor unlike the competitors' BLDC motors. This is a great opportunity to show the benefits of the technology in action.

Now the specialists from the "Resurs" production cooperative and the pilot are making serious preparations for the race, expecting to achieve the best result and stand up for the technology.
