"Sovelmash" construction site | Day 340

Today, May 13, is World Technology Day for the Future. It is a professional holiday for engineers and developers that is celebrated to tell people more about the capabilities and developments in the technical, scientific and computer fields.

We congratulate engineers and developers on their professional holiday!

Now some news from the "Sovelmash" construction site. 

The exterior wall panels in the office and amenity part (O&A) of the D&E building have been fully covered. 

Work continues in other areas too. 

• The frames of the overhanging bay window are being installed for the subsequent installation of panoramic glazing.
• The installation of wall panels in the testing and production (T&P) building is nearing completion. 
• The entire roof is almost completely mounted, for both the O&A and the T&P (only a small section remains to be insulated). 
• The ground warming of the testing and production part of the building continues, which precedes the subsequent casting of the concrete bedding. 
• The installation of interior partitions on the third floor is in progress. 

Due to the fact that the staircase in the O&A had been fully completed, the technological aperture between the T&P and O&A buildings, intended to carry out work on the third floor of the O&A building, was closed with foam concrete blocks. Access to the third floor is now provided in the way envisaged by the design documentation: via the staircase.
