A tour of "Sovelmash" by Dmitriy Duyunov: developments, equipment and future plans
In this video, Dmitriy Duyunov sheds light on the "Sovelmash" engineering company, which is engaged in the full cycle of development and production of Russian electric motors using the "Slavyanka" technology. This makes it possible to create electric rotating machines not only of the highest energy efficiency classes, but also superior in their performance to electric motors by other companies, including the global ones.
You will see the studio where the videos are created to promote the company, as well as the other departments of "Sovelmash". You will find out what the specialists are working on. Full-blast work is now being carried out in several directions. For example, the high-precision laboratory tests electric rotating machines, controllers. This includes the simulation of emergency conditions that may arise during their operation.
Dmitriy Duyunov will reveal what developments have already been completed. You will see the most interesting of them:
- drives (controllers, electric motors);
- built-in electric motors used in household appliances, hand-held power tools, etc;
- traction electric motors;
- hub motors that do not contain magnets, etc.
You will also see the process equipment designed and manufactured at "Sovelmash", namely:
- magnetizing unit for rubber ferrites, which allows to automatically magnetize encoder sensors,
- low-pressure casting furnace for casting rotors with aluminum in automated and robotic modes.
Such equipment allows you to set up production, which will not be dependent on imported supplies, equipment and raw materials.
This video shows not an idea, it's been checked, documented, piloted, tested, and done. The scale of the work and its results have been made possible thanks to everyone involved in the project.
Today, additional premises are needed to implement the company's goal. To do this, the construction of the "Sovelmash" D&E needs to be completed, where the full capacities can be deployed.
