"Sovelmash" ensuring quality control": D&E thermal imaging inspection

Thermal imaging inspection is a modern method of controlling the heat loss of a building. The readings obtained during the examination of the facilities make it possible to identify flaws in the insulation material and defects in the structure of the building that lead to heat loss.

On March 21, the "Sovelmash" laboratory specialists began checking the D&E building for heat loss. With the help of a thermal imaging camera, the specialists examined the elements of the warehouse part of the building: walls, frame, roofing and others. This area was chosen for a reason. As we have already told you, earlier the warehouse part was separated from the testing and production part in order to warm up the ground and the building itself, prepare them for sub-concrete work and casting the first-level floor. Due to the contrast in temperature between the outside and the inside of the warehouse area, this is where it is most expedient to conduct examination using a thermal imaging camera.

One of the priorities "Sovelmash" adheres to is to control the quality of construction work and the D&E building itself. With this approach, the building will meet all the requirements after completion, and the "Sovelmash" specialists are now doing everything required for this.
