SOLARGROUP in China | Day 3 | Visiting ASPP Weihai
We are concluding our story about the business trip of the SOLARGROUP delegation to China. On day three the guests, represented by the company's top managers Sergey Semyonov and Pavel Filippov, as well as head of the "Resurs" production cooperative Andrey Lobov and Indian partner Avtar Singh, visited ASPP Weihai Technology.
Victor Arestov, the head of the company, gave them a tour of the territory and explained how the enterprise had been established and how it operates now.
The company is located in a special economic zone. Backed by the government of Shandong province, it is engaged in the development of electric vehicles. Among other things, it equips vehicles with "Slavyanka" based electric combined winding motors under licence.
The vehicles are exported to European, African and Latin American countries.
ASPP Weihai has a serious scientific background, and university students get their internships there.
