Equipment for the "Sovelmash" automated production line has been sent from China to Zelenograd

A long-awaited event for the project "Duyunov's motors"! Equipment for the automated production line has been sent from China to Zelenograd. This news was reported by the partner of "Sovelmash" Victor Arestov who had been engaged in the preparation and shipment of the valuable cargo.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the process of manufacturing and receiving the equipment was delayed. The partial shutdown of Chinese ports had blocked cargo deliveries and threatened world trade, but the team of "Sovelmash" managed to overcome this problem. Here is how Victor Arestov commented on the situation: "It's not the easiest time for us to do our job. Due to the complications, there have been delays in both deliveries and shipments for a year and a half now. But we managed to make the equipment for our D3333E both with the additional tooling and at the old prices. Now it's on the way to "Sovelmash".

To recap, the automated production line will be installed first on the leased premises of the company, and then relocated to the territory of the design and engineering technology department that is currently under construction. It will allow "Sovelmash" to produce small-scale batches of electric motors to demonstrate to the customers the opportunities of automated production for a specific motor model.

After the delivery and installation of the equipment, the processes of optimization and adjustment of the operational methodology, training of employees, creation of programs and tooling, production of motor prototypes will begin. By the time the "Sovelmash" D3333E is put into operation, these processes will be elaborated, and the automated production line will be able to fully perform its functions.
