The engineer explained how the technology had become part of his daily life

The "Slavyanka" technology has long gone mainstream, which once again proves its practicality and efficiency. We continue sharing with you the examples of modernising personal vehicles.

Nikolay Lopatin, an engineer from the Stavropol region, purchased a combined winding DA-100SL motor from ASPP Weihai and converted a petrol-powered Oka car into an electric car. He is fully satisfied with the motor, and uses the electric car for his daily commute in the surrounding area.

Key features:

• rated motor power — 7kW,
• peak power — 21 kW,
• battery — 75 Ah,
• driving range on a single charge — 60 km,
• battery charge time — 3 hours.

Andrey Lobov visited the engineer to learn more about the modernised car.
