16 months of the "Sovelmash" D&E construction: interim results in numbers

What has been done since the construction start for the "Sovelmash" design and engineering technology department, i.e., since December 2020? The construction results in numbers have been announced by Dmitriy Duyunov.

The most time-consuming and difficult work is behind us.

• The foundation and the metal frame of the building have been fully completed, all staircases, elevator shafts and interfloor slabs have been cast.
• The building envelopes are 96% complete, with some sections of the walls in the testing and production building and the extensions still to be completed.
• The roof is 92% complete.
• The interior partitions on the third floor are 90% finished.
• The window glazing is 78% complete.
• The concrete footing on the first floor is 30% complete.

In addition, "Sovelmash" purchased technological, engineering, climate control and heating equipment. Transformers, materials for interior partitions and other things were also purchased.

Thanks to the support of the project investors and partners, as well as the competent work of the "Sovelmash" team, the construction costs were minimized and a great deal was accomplished on the investment received.

What else needs to be done to complete the D&E construction?

• Carrying out a large amount of work on the engineering systems is the main thing that must be done before the winter.
• Casting the remaining concrete footing on the ground of the D&E's first floor. After that, do concrete flooring on the first floor. Then it will be possible to install heating equipment, power transformers, etc.
• Purchasing pumping units for the operation of internal engineering systems, elevators, power supply elements, etc.
• Carrying out the finish flooring.
• Installing interior partitions on the other floors.
• Performing vertical leveling, roads, parking lots, landscaping and other work on the site.
