TOP 6 areas of applying the "Slavyanka" technology

The combined winding technology "Slavyanka" is a revolutionary invention of a Russian engineer Dmitriy Duyunov thanks to which the most widespread type of electric motors in the world (three-phase induction electric motors) gains unique performance features in saving capacity, power and reliability.
The efficiency of "Slavyanka" has been proved by dozens of patents and years of work of a hundred of winding specialists who apply Duyunov's technology in electric motor repair. The scope of applying combined winding motors spans the whole global market of induction electric motors touching upon the vital industries for mankind.
Thus, the TOP 6 areas of applying the "Slavyanka" technology.

1) Electric transport
Electric cars, motorcycles, bicycles, public transport with Duyunov's motors demonstrate enhances power and lower electricity consumption as compared with the plant-produced motors. For the consumers, it means increased travel distance alongside a similar charge consumption as well as the ability to accelerate faster. The technology was tested in practice on various makes of electric cars including LADA Ellada, Renault Twizy, Renault Kangoo, "Zaporozhets", ZAZ-966, KAMAZ-Master, Pickman pickup.
The two-wheelers are equipped with both hub motors and Duyunov's electric motors. The vehicles with a size 318 hub motor (for example, electric bicycles with "Versiya" and Escort frames as well as Sparta) demonstrated increased power after changing the standard Chinese hub motors. The maneuverability of the vehicles improved, the became resistant to moist, dirt and dust since the mechanism has advanced durability and longer service life as compared to the fragile Chinese rivals.
The environmental friendliness of Duyunov's motors, reduced noise level and saving energy are especially important for application in urban public electric transport. The experts have calculated that: if we modernize the motors of Moscow trolleybuses only, the annual savings will amount to 61.5.million kW*h!
The examples of public transport where the technology has been tried: the LAZ trolleybus in Kiev, tuk-tuks in India, electric boats with solar panels in Thailand.

2) Electric hand-held tools
Duyunov's induction motors can also be used in electric hand-held tools. Using the "Slavyanka" technology in this area leads to improving the tool user performance features. Comparative testing of the angle-grinder with a "Slavyanka" based electric drive UShM 230/2100M and a regular UShM (angle grinder) demonstrated the decrease in the noise level, reduction gear performance changed, the quality of cutting improved. These changes make working with the machine more comfortable.

3) Industrial equipment
Modernizing induction electric motors applied for industrial equipment leads to considerable improvement of the machinery productivity: the unit power increases alongside lower energy consumption which, on an industrial scale, leads to colossal saving of energy resources. The equipment use durability is improved too due to reducing the vibration level and overheating.
There are a lot of examples of successfully implementing Duyunov's motors in industrial facilities. Some of them are, for instance, the drainage pump motor 5AI160M2U2 with the power of 18.5 kW, the 15 kW electric motor for equipment in a stone quarry in Belgrad, the electric motor 5AM280S8Y3 for a ventilation unit for the tunnel ventilation in Saint Petersburg metro.

4) Extractive industry
Duyunov's technology is applicable in oil and gas mining industries, metallurgy and other industry branches. A graphic example: Duyunov's motor increased the labour productivity of Donetsk miners two times alongside considerable reduction of energy consumption. The mining electric locomotive "Era" was equipped with a "Slavyanka" induction motor and Curtis controller instead of the regular DRT-13 11 kW power motor. Before changing the motor, the induction motor electric drive pulled 5 cars with coal, and after the modernization it became capable of pulling 11 cars, including going uphill. Transporting 100 tonns of coal, the motor doesn't overheat and keeps the standard temperature despite the load increased two times.

In some areas, the combined winding motor haven't been tested in practice but have a great potential.

5) Housing maintenance and utilities
Induction motors are commonly used in housing maintenance and utilities and are the main energy consumers in this area. The important elements of vital service systems rely on them: pumps, compressors, ventilators, centrifuges, exhausters, elevators. The branch of housing maintenance and utilities in in dire need of optimizing the use of energy resources, this issue is especially acute for people living in Russia and other countries with a cold climate.
Many big cities worldwide have switched or are going to switch to smart digital control systems, one of the basic principles of such systems is saving energy. The "Slavyanka" technology is capable of drastically reducing the consumption of electrical energy in housing maintenance and utilities as well as of providing colossal saving in motor maintenance due to less frequent repairs. There is a good reason the technology has drawn the attention of the city authorities who truly care about saving energy. For example, the administration of Kaluga and Obninsk where the "Smart City' system is now being actively implemented intends to cooperate with "SovElMash" and implement Duyunov's motors in the framework of the governmental program.

6) Household appliances
There are induction motors in any home. And most of them can be changed to combined winding motors. Only imagine that washing machines, vacuum cleaners, refrigerators, electric meat grinders will operate much more quietly and much longer than the existing appliances, but their price will not increase!

And this is not a full list of areas where the "Slavyanka" technology can be applied. It can be used in space and surgery, in military equipment and in agriculture. Almost in every area where induction motors are used. There are almost 83 billion units of them worldwide. Every year, the market needs to overhaul 7 billion motors as well as the same amount of new ones. If Duyunov's technology was applied for all of them, the world would be much more comfortable, environmentally friendly and happy.
That's why making your contribution to developing the project "Duyunov's motors", you benefit not only yourself but every person on our planet too!
