New design of DA-90S motor

The partner of "SovElMash" Victor Arestov continues to share great news. Just a little while ago, we told you that solar golf cars with ASPP Weihai motors had received a European certificate. At the same time, Arestov's team continues to improve the combined winding motors produced under license issued by the technology's copyright holder "ASiPP".

The DA-90S motor is implemented in a new design with a cooling jacket. Now the motor will be able to withstand longer overloads. The tests will show what current it can withstand maintaining the temperature under 110-120°, as well as how the rated power will change.

After the tests, mass production of the motor will be launched, which is planned to be done in the coming months. Besides, it is possible that in the future a DA-90S modification with a completely airtight housing will be developed. According to Victor Arestov, this is requested by some customers who are used to magnetic motors that need to be protected from moisture entering the interior. At the same time, he noted that the prejudice around the need for moisture protection can not be destroyed even by testing the performance of a motor partially immersed in water. "Over the two years of producing the motors with "Slavyanka" in ASPP Weihai, no customer has ever complained about any motor damage caused by moisture or dirt that clogs the motor through these holes. This is what induction motors are like: they work in the most alkaline and corrosive industries, and corroded aluminum housings do not prevent these motors from continuing to work."

The DA-90S motor model with "Slavyanka" is one of the first developments of Victor Arestov's company successfully implemented both separately and as part of various vehicles. The compact and lightweight DA-90S is designed for motorcycles, small cars, and other small-size vehicles.
