Weekly update on the Duyunov Motors project
LLC Sovelmash is steadily expanding its technological capabilities.
• The company obtained two new patents! Both relate to the design of induction motors. The latest solution made it possible to reduce the length of the motor’s aluminum housing from 90 mm to 80 mm and to reduce the motor’s material consumption.
• Using tooling designed and manufactured at LLC Sovelmash, the first stator was press‑fitted into a standard 90 mm housing.
• Tooling was created for installing the stator into the angle grinder housing.
• Work continued on manufacturing the first batch of angle grinders. As assembly progresses, nuances are being identified and parts are being fitted and adjusted.
• Commissioning began on the slotting machine intended for cutting keyways in internal bores. It was partially filled with lubricants — 200 liters of oil were used. The first start‑up was performed, and the manufacture of tooling for the machine was initiated.
On April 15, a meeting was held with the management of Technopolis Moscow. Issues related to obtaining the commissioning permit, as well as other matters concerning residents of the special economic zone, were discussed.
